Torqeedo Deep Blue Hybrid & Indikon Boatworks Agreement
Indikon Boatworks and Torqeedo Deep Blue Hybrid Systems have agreed to enter a Cooperative Agreement to incorporate the Deep Blue Hybrid as a Complete Power Management and Hybrid Drive System, in the Indikon k4 Powersailer, for those owners desiring everything from a single integrated system. Volvo Penta D3 twin diesels will be the standard powerplants, the Torqeedo Deep Blue Hybrid will be an optional system.
Torqeedo was an early Industry Partner with Indikon Boatworks, and now with the convergence of their leading-edge Deep Blue Hybrid System, with the Morrelli & Melvin designed Indikon k4 efficient hull shapes, a new definition of “Luxury Meets Sustainability” has been introduced to the catamaran marketplace.
